28.06.2014. WE ARE IN LONDON!!!
In June a group of our pupils and their parents set off to Great Britain with their teacher Severina O.V.

During their trip they visited lots of sights familiar to them only from pictures in the textbooks: the Tower, London Eye, Sherlock Holms Museum, Trafalgar square and National Gallery, Westminster Abby and many others.

The children had a lot of language practice in the shops, cafes and hotels. And in the end of their trip they presented diaries with their travelling notes.

17.04.2014 Walks through Spring London
There’s nothing quite like those first days of real sunshine, when you can actually take your coat off and enjoy the outdoors.
I did my best to make the most of every ray by taking a long walk along the River Thames one Sunday, then hiring my bike to cycle around Hyde Park the following weekend.

The city’s architecture is one of the few things that stops me in my tracks when I am charging around.

Kings Cross St Pancras, the Royal Courts of Justice and the British Museum are all fine examples.

Walking along the Regent’s canal from Paddington to Kings Cross.

ANNOUNCING THE LAUNCH OF
A MAJOR NEW VISITOR ATTRACTION FOR LONDON

Little London, the Greatest Model City on Earth, is a new London landmark that will open to the public in the summer of 2016 at One Tower Bridge, in the heart of London’s tourist zone.

Incorporating a vast indoor scale-model of the city, Little London is expected to attract 1.4m visitors each year once established, making it one of the capital’s top-five paid-for visitor attractions.

The highly-detailed, architecturally-accurate Panorama – with buildings up to eight feet tall – will be alive with movement, life and stories, creating an awesome visitor experience that combines magical entertainment with education and discovery.
Alongside the Panorama, a series of immersive Zones will focus on aspects of London life: Royal London, Sporting London, Underground London and more. Each Zone will feature magnificent interactive scale models of iconic buildings, with a host of games and simulators for all age groups.
